OUR MISSION + VISION

Town and City Permaculture (TCP), a Oakland/Bay Area based nonprofit organization, formed on June 15, 2015. TCP was created to aid inner-city, disadvantaged communities and at-risk youth in realizing their leadership and life/career building skills from an approach through education and training in permaculture principles and practices. TCP's mission is to help aid participants with obtaining environmental education, access to land, food, social and economic justice. Our vision is to work within the bay area community, establish a network of individuals and organizations that will provide the resources for health, safety, and fair opportunity and empowerment for tomorrow's leaders, scholars and protectors of the environment. We take pride in this work and we take pride in our communities....It takes a village!
